Linkyfy and Botdog look alike at first glance. Both run in the cloud, both start on LinkedIn, and both send connection requests and follow-ups for you. Because they look so similar, it is easy to pick one and only discover the differences after the first invoice.
The differences show up in two places.
The first is what happens after LinkedIn. Botdog works on LinkedIn only. Linkyfy can also find a prospect's email address and follow up by email, from the Standard plan.
The second is how you pay. Botdog charges per user, with team packs for agencies. Linkyfy has four flat monthly plans, and Business Plus covers up to 3 LinkedIn accounts.
Below, we compare the two on channels, pricing, AI and personalization, inbox and integrations, and daily limits. We also work out what three accounts cost on each tool.
By the end, you will know which one fits the way your team does outreach.
Here is the short version first.

What Is Linkyfy?
Linkyfy is a cloud-based LinkedIn and email outreach tool built to be quick to start. There is nothing to install, and there is a free plan.
You start from a LinkedIn search URL. Linkyfy then writes each message from the prospect's real profile, so it reads like a note written for that person, not a filled-in template.
Safety is built in. Daily actions stay capped at 15 to 20, with randomized delays between them. Before a campaign starts, an eligibility check confirms the account has 250+ connections and is at least 6 months old.
There are four plans: Free, Standard at $39 a month, Business at $69 and Business Plus at $149 for up to 3 accounts. Standard and above add email, with a built-in email finder.
What Is Botdog?
Botdog is a cloud-based LinkedIn automation tool. It focuses on LinkedIn alone and does not offer email outreach.
You build sequences of invitations, follow-ups and messages that run on their own. Its AI campaign builder takes plain-language instructions to review leads and personalize messages.
Replies from you and your team land in one shared inbox. You can run several LinkedIn accounts without sharing logins, and agencies get extra tools to manage client accounts.
Leads can come from LinkedIn searches, Sales Navigator lists, Recruiter projects, events, post interactions and CSV files. Botdog also connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Slack, Make, n8n and Clay.
Key Differences Compared
On LinkedIn, the two tools do much of the same job. The real differences are in channels, pricing, personalization, the inbox and how each one paces your account.
Channels: LinkedIn Only vs. LinkedIn Plus Email
Botdog is built for teams whose outreach happens entirely on LinkedIn.
Linkyfy starts on LinkedIn too. From the Standard plan, it adds a built-in email finder and email sending, so you can follow up with the same prospect by email when they don't accept on LinkedIn. Addresses are verified before sending, the bounce rate is kept below 3%, and you can connect your own SMTP. Standard and Business include up to 16 emails a day, and Business Plus up to 48.
Email comes with its own rules about sender reputation. Our guide on cold email deliverability and sender reputation covers the basics.
Pricing: Flat Plans vs. Per User
Botdog Solo is priced per LinkedIn account: $79 a month on monthly billing, 10% less on quarterly billing, and $55.33 a month on annual billing ($664 a year). Agency starts at $299 a month for 5 senders. Managed is a done-for-you service from $690 a month per seat.
Linkyfy uses four flat monthly plans, and Business Plus covers up to 3 LinkedIn accounts for $149 a month.
Because the two bill so differently, compare them on the same number of accounts. The pricing section below does that for three.
AI and Personalization: Real Profiles vs. Your Instructions
Linkyfy writes each LinkedIn message from the prospect's real profile, by default.
Botdog's AI follows your lead. You describe in plain language how to review leads and personalize messages, and the AI applies it. Botdog's pages do not explain in detail how this works.
So the choice is between personalization that comes from the profile out of the box, and personalization you steer with your own instructions.
Inbox and Integrations: Available Now vs. Launching Soon
Botdog has a shared inbox for your team today, and connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Slack, Make, n8n and Clay.
Linkyfy's inbox and integrations are launching soon.
What Linkyfy does today is stop a sequence as soon as the prospect replies. That way a person takes over the conversation, and no automated follow-up lands on top of a real reply.
Daily Limits and Account Safety
Linkyfy caps daily actions at 15 to 20 with randomized delays, and runs its eligibility check before any campaign starts.
Botdog says its sending limits apply automatically. It does not publish a daily number, although its FAQ suggests 100 to 200 connection requests a week.
So the choice is between a fixed, visible cap and limits the tool manages for you. Neither is a guarantee, because LinkedIn does not publish exact limits. Our guide to LinkedIn limits and safe outreach volume shows how to set a safe pace with any tool.
Pricing Compared
| Plan | Price | What you get |

| Linkyfy Standard | $39 a month | 1 account, email included |
| Linkyfy Business | $69 a month | 1 account, more Find Posts campaigns |
| Linkyfy Business Plus | $149 a month | Up to 3 accounts |
| Botdog Solo | $79 per user a month ($55.33 billed annually) | Unlimited campaigns, AI campaign building, shared inbox |
| Botdog Agency | $299 a month for 5 senders ($209.33 billed annually) | Adds onboarding, migration and priority support |
| Botdog Managed | From $690 a month per seat | Done-for-you LinkedIn outreach |
Botdog offers a 7-day free trial, and Agency also comes in larger packs.
What three accounts cost: three LinkedIn accounts on Botdog Solo come to about $237 a month on monthly billing, or about $166 a month on annual billing. Linkyfy Business Plus covers the same three accounts for $149 a month. These are list prices at the time of writing, and the billing terms differ, so check both pricing pages before you decide.
